Details:
Last night I spent the evening guiding a group of seven photographers for Lights Over Lapland. We enjoyed a nice meal at the Abisko Mountain Lodge, before heading to one of my favourite locations with a scenic overlook towards Mt. Noulja. The aurora appeared as a faint green band at around 10:30 PM and grew in intensity as the night continued. About an hour later, the green band developed into an intense display that filled a large portion of the sky. Needless to say, my guests went to bed with smiles on their faces!
