Details:
Using the Sun as a guide, I was able to get some photos of Venus. Shining at mag=-3.9, it is only 7.4° from the setting Sun and consequently not visible to the naked eye yet. I used a Nikon CoolPix P900 camera at its Moon Mode to get the shots at 17:43 (UTC-3h). The settings were: ISO 100, F/6.3, Exp: 1/125s; Magnification: 50x.
