Finally!! After seeing shiny photos of Aurora all around the globe, Tromsø was waiting patiently under the thick layer of clouds. The spell got broken tonight, 7th of September. Although Spaceweather warned us, that there is a chance for a solar storm, the people of Tromsø were more fascinated by the totally clear skies. And when there is clear skies in September on high latitudes....there usually will be Aurora. Aurora chasers in Tromsø are greeting everyone for the new season and let the shiny time of the year begin!
