Details:
I was testing a Sony CCTV camera by doing a video time-lapse of Jupiter when all of a sudden a meteor appeared. I didn't expect to be able to also record the Galilean Moons. Ganymede and Callisto are located below Jupiter and IO was so close to Jupiter that it was hidden behind the glare. Europa shows up above Jupiter minutes later and it can be seen in the following time-lapse video I posted on youtube. https://youtu.be/emNBOTf5txg I used a Sony Color Super HAD CCD camera with a Cosmicar TV Zoom Lens 12.5-75mm at F/1.8. I had the Lens set to about 60mm. This camera is owned by Dr. Walt Lyons and was sent to me to help me in my research of sprites and gigantic jet lightning.
