Details:
Anticipating the aurora storm, I've headed out into the night. The weather was really-really cloudy in Finnish Lapland, and I drove around for nearly 300 km, all in vain. I nearly gave up, but then the clouds have started to dissipate a little, and I've seen some of the aurora glory. First aurora storm of the season is here! While taking one of the photos, I saw a bright flash of light over my head. I thought that there was something wrong with my flash light, however, I quickly realised it was a meteor. There was no bang though or audible impact It was the brightest meteor I've ever seen during my aurora hunting career. Luckily, the camera was running and captured the moment.
