Here's a photo of last nights full moon rise as seen from Östersund, Sweden. This year, the full moon of August occurred during daytime here in Sweden. The good thing about that is that I as a photographer get two night where the moon is almost 100% lit (99.something% each night), so I get two chances to get clear skies and two different headings where the moon rises. The first night (14th of August) there were some clouds by the horizon and the moon was to far South to get a good angel on our skyline in Östersund. The second night (15th of August), the conditions was perfect, as was the heading for the moon rise. Here's a single exposure taken using my Nikon D850 with a Nikon 600mm f/4 lens, showing the moon rising behind the residential building called Fagerskrapan in Östersund, Sweden. The big brick building is the city hall of Östersund, also called Rådhuset.
