Details:
I can usually get a flash or colored rim from nearly every Sunset in the summer from my vantage point 14 air miles from the Pacific Ocean. There is normally a marine layer or some sort of cloud formation which, together with the inversion layer, causes the setting Sun to have various greens and blues. This is one of the more colorful flashes.
