Details:
A close conjunction of the Waning Gibbous Moon with Saturn was visible in very clear dawn sky above Mutare on 19th June. Although Mutare was near the eastern end of the occultation path this could not be observed because the sky became too bright for Saturn to remain visible closer to the Moon than in the first image. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in night scenery mode with up to x90 optical + digital zoom magnification.
