At about 6 pm on 18th June the close conjunction between Mercury and Mars became visible in the twilight sky above Transmitter Hill in Mutare. The pair was recorded on video disappearing behind the summit in darkness twenty minutes later (see accompanying 2.5 speed animation). Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in manual exposure mode with up to x90 optical + digital zoom magnification.
