Details:
While out doing late evening yardwork I noticed the sky looking quite familiar as an NLC observer, so I decided to stop what I was doing and grab my camera. I then headed to a private dock out on Lake Limerick located near Shelton, Washington and set up my camera. Over the course of twenty minutes I captured what I believe, is quite possibly the most stunning display of Noctilucent clouds I have seen in the last ten years. They lit up the entire northwestern horizon! I even captured a four-frame panorama! My camera is a Nikon D5500 and all exposures were ISO640, set to 1.5 second exposures at f/6.3.
