Details:
This is my clearest observation of the Cupola so far. The central window of the Cupola is ''only'' 80 centimeters (31 inch) in diameter and is clearly visible in this image taken with my 10 inch Newtonian. Probably a reflection or flare from the right angle towards me causes the window to appear very bright and clearly visible. Image taken with 10 inch F/4,8 Newtonian and ALccd 5L-11 mono CMOS camera in secondary focus. Tracking fully manually using a 6x30 finderscope and tracking on crosshairs. For improved visibility of the crosshairs, an easy bicycle red light was used to illuminate not the crosshairs but the background. (This causes the crosshairs to appear silhouette).
