Hi Ralf,
Really very nice details is this animation !
I hope you will tell us soon on your site about your special - low frame number - processing technique !

When you say equatorially mounted I suppose from my own experience that you align your mount not on Polaris but on culmination data (Az, h) given by Calsky doing Az + 180 & 90-h ... Am I right ?

Ralf Vandebergh asked me to forward his answer to Sylvain Sweiller, Because he can not log in to this time: Answer: I start with mount aligned to pole to be able track stars to focus on them. Then short before pass I adjust the direction to the west or the east to get as smooth tracking direction. I do this approximately on experience.

Ok !
As I said, to track smoothly the ISS the best mount polarkind direction can be calculated from Calsky data (AZ.c, h.c) at culmination !
Just turn the mount to 180° + Az.c and set height to 90° - h.c.
Doing this, the mount turns exactly around the axis of the ISS trajectory circle !

nice use of frame summing technique!

Apollo Lasky - amplelight Are you going to contact me at my email? I want to talk to you about your processing technique is literally the federal government way to improve your data using homeland security image enhancement. This technique was developed to catch criminals faces in blurry video and also read licence plates. As I said my contact email is Lordphilip@optonline.net.
