The anticipated, slow moving CME has arrived. Here are my magnetometer data from the UK showing first contact at 21:33 on May 10th followed by further activity as Earth moved further into the turbulent wake during the early hours of this morning. It is always fascinating to witness the consequences of solar activity on my little magnetometer buried in my back yard.
