The sun had a huge ring around that looked like a rainbow. The sun felt 20 degrees warmer on my skin. The photo was taken with an iPhone 8.

This is whats called the common ring. But it is an extraordinary fine one. It has its origin in tiny ice crystals in high atmospheric levels.
