Details:
It was a day with steady and transparent air. I had been following the two active reagions AR12738 (bottom right) and AR 12739 (top left) for the last few days. This was a great experience given that we are near solar minimum with many spotless days. Images were obtained in green continuum light using a 11 inch Schmidt Cassegrain telescope telescope and a photographic solar filter in front of the telescope to shield it from the enormous heat. A solar seeing monitor helped to shot 165 images per second right in the moment when the air was most steady. The whown image was created from the seven best images obtained.
