Here in Maldives we don't often get lunar halos that are as prominent as this one, the temperatures are quite high so when I saw this spectacular halo I raced to take an image. I was setting up our observatory at Soneva Jani for a night of lunar observing and this was a wonderful treat to begin the night with. It was taken over over the So Starstruck observatory at Soneva Jani where I am the astronomer.
