The Moon's orbit is inclined 5 degrees to the ecliptic, but it wobbles up and down by that amount over a saros period of 18 years. A couple years ago the Moon could be seen south of the top stars of Orion's club, but since then it's been moving northward and is now slightly north of them but still inside the constellation boundaries, as the map shows.
