This image is from some time ago during an experimental session but never could grab frames before due to an avi error. I used these images to experiment with one of the new techniques I'm developing to bring out more detail in satellite images. Here a kind of monocolor micro-color-contrast processing is applied. The result especially is visible in the high color contrast between the Integrated Truss Structure and surroundings. The technique could be especially of use for imaging detail in more difficult low contrast objects. Imaging: 10 inch Newtonian and ALccd 5L-11 mono CMOS camera by fully manually cosshair tracking at 6x visual magnification.
