Details:
This little church was built in the 14th century on the foundation of a former church (12th century). During the Ottoman Invasion in the 16-17th century it was damaged and later in 1720 was restored. The last reparation was in 2007. In our days this severe and beautiful building functions as a cemetery chapel and naturally as a subject to take landscape astrophotos. The star trail image was made from 60 photos (15 sec, F4, ISO 800, 10 mm). During taking photos the Moon was rising behind me and took shadows of me and my tripod on the wall of the chapel, while the Orion and Taurus were setting. Photos were taken on March 22, 2019. Canon EOS 400D & Canon EF-S 10-22 USM lens.
