Details:
This month it has been 11 years ago since I started doing ISS imaging using ordinary color camcorders. As spaceweather.com posted the results regularly, I decided to reprocess one result and post it here. Note the striking blue Earth color reflected on different modules and radiators. Another obvious bright yellow color appears on the solar panel tips were strips are mounted. These are in fact minor flares caused by sunlight - in the same way as normal satellite flares are produced. CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO GET A FULL RESOLUTION VIEW. The image was taken in 2008 when the ISS was still under construction. One major element was still missing when I shot this image. Do you know which?
