There was a nice cosmic encounter yesterday, the bright comet C2018Y1-Ywamoto passed close to NGC2093, a spiral galaxy in Leo.
It was a lovely sight in the telescope, with the two fuzzy objects getting close and then moving away in a few tens of minutes.
The comet was moving really fast, a motion trail was visible even on 30s exposures.
The picture is a combination of 50 images 30s each, taken around 22:20 UT, aligned respectively on stars and on comet, in order to get a sharp view of both objects.
