Following some recent comments, I thought followers of this gallery might be interested in the "Window-sill observatory". All the solar images I post are acquired like this, and many of the other images also. Here are 2 examples, and pictures of the "Observatory". It simply shows that you do not have to have complicated expensive equipment to get quite pleasing images.
