EVOLUTION OF ACTIVE REGION 2733.
Attached below is a composite image of sun and active region 2733.
This image is a result of monitoring sun & AR2733 in white light for 8 consecutive days.
The images were taken during the month of January 2019 from 22nd Jan to 29th Jan. Every image is a stack of 30-40 monochrome images in white light. Sunspots have been cropped and posted above full disc images for better visibility. Monochrome images have been artificially coloured and inverted.
According to SpaceWeatherLive "Active Region 2733 belongs to solar cycle 24. Sunspot regions and solar flares are rare during solar minimum but its nice to see some action for a change. Sunspot region 2733 erupted with a C5.0 solar flare on 26th January 2019 at 13:22 UTC. this is the strongest solar flare since a C4 class solar flare that took place on 30/03/2018.
Sunspot region 2733 has now rotated towards the west limb but it does posses a Beta-Gamma magnetic configuration which means more C-class solar flares can not be excluded."
Equipment Details: 90mm Sky watcher Refractor and Canon 1200D DSLR at prime focus method.
