So strange that the only time i have witnessed this optical phenomenon was a year ago,one day after a clouded out lunar eclipse. And this year it showed up again but 2 days after a clouded out lunar eclipse!! It is quite the sight as this circle fills the entire sky! I set up a timelapse wondering if it would last and it did. The timelapse is from 4am-7am. I used a canon 8-15mm /canon 6d. The lens kinda "crystallized" near the end but its interested that the lower the moon got the more the circle filled the sky!
