Details:
I never noticed the impact in this image and in fact deleted it as others (of the eclipse) were sharper images. Having later read on Spaceweather about the impact I decided to attempt to recover all of my deleted images- and lo and behold there was the tell-tale tiny dot. This is one of several 4 second shots taken in succession- only this one shows it. It was -7 Fahrenheit out that night here with a breeze and terrible seeing. Also was my first time ever using an equatorial mount: which was less than accurately polar aligned. :)
