Details:

I took the picture, through my telescope, during the blood moon. I used my canon EOS4000, and my Celestron Omni XLT 102 telescope, as well as the Celestron Advanced VX Mount. After going through the pictures afterwards I noticed one had a spec on the moon. After further research I discovered that this spec was a meteor hitting the moon.

There is a pic made by Victor (few submits earlier) showing 2 impacts. The most left impact in Victors pic is at the same distance from the first as your impact speck from the second speck in your pic. How do we know for sure both specks are not in front of the moon in stead of on the surface?

Th second spec, that is not in front of the moon, showed up in all my pictures so I believe it is a star. I saw only one picture with the speck on the moon, and after hearing about the meteor, I assumed it must be it.
