Full Moon January 20th 2018 Naked eye sketch. Pastels Louisburgh, Co Mayo Ireland. 18:12 Clear sky. Deirdre Kelleghan Total Lunar Eclipse January 21st 2018 Naked eye sketch . Pastels . Louisburgh Co Mayo Ireland. 95% Cloud mostly black with the rest a grey haze The Moon was in and out of view for brief seconds as were the stars Castor and Pollux. An airplanes lights blinked its presence, before vanishing in the ghostly night. I had several seconds of viewing between 04:04 and 05:02 that was it. A dark spooky, misty, hazy view for me. Just seconds to sketch when the moon escaped that black cloud which was darker that the night sky itself. Deirdre Kelleghan
