Details:
2019 January 6th partial solar eclipse at 60.6% obscuration from a hilltop overlooking Tomtor, Oymyakon District, Sakha Republic, Yakutia, Russia, and with temperatures around -55C/-67F. This observation is likely record breaking for the conditions, at least outside Antarctica and having no near heated shelter.
My father and I are likely the only ones to have seen this one at such an obscuration and in such extreme conditions. It was brutal, staying outside for 3 hours in those extremely low temperatures is not a given thing. Moreover everything becomes rigid at those low temps and many turn brittle.
