Seeing airglow and the gravity waves from the Northwest coast of Denmark is pretty common thing. The explanation is Norwegian landscape, that is full of mountains - country's South coast is located only 150 km North from Denmark, which has more layers of wind. Taken on astro modified Canon EOS 6D + Samyang 24mm f/1.4. The sky is tracked for 90 seconds with iOptron skytracker. The other night (Jan, 5th) I made a timelapse video of the gravity waves, facing Northwestern direction fo the sky: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXCMn9X4xTU&feature=youtu.be Follow me for more astrophotography: instagram.com/rmerzlyakov/ facebook.com/rmsphotography95/
