Details:
woke up after midnight early morning of January 4th, drove up around 1:30 AM, arrived on target around 2 AM, had very clear skies at first but later some thin cirrus clouds killed the show... it was rather cold with -5°C but no wind at my location. Managed to catch a few fainter Quadrantids but my girlfriend saw many more and some bright ones - I seemed to be looking in the wrong direction frequently hahaha. Used a Canon EOS 6D with Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 lens at f/2 ( first 3 images... at ISO 4000 and 15 sec. shutter ) , and a EOS 80D with Rokinon 16mm f/2 for timelapsing ( last image here is a videostill grab from the timelapse video ) .
