Details:
Following on from what Chad Blakely said on his post. I was one of the guides for Lights Over Lapland who was not working tonight so I could go where I wanted! I first headed east and had clear skies but little activity then headed back to Abisko and at first it was a little cloudy then it both cleared and the activity increased with a really high density and the Bz often going very south was causing a lot of aurora. As I was back in the village of Abisko I thought I would try to photograph the iconic train building with aurora. I've been after a shot like this for years but it requires both very bright lights and for them to be in the South West. Tonight both parts came together and I got a shot I've been after for about 5 years!
