Details:
Fast moving Comet 46P/Wirtanen can be seen two days after its closest approach to Earth on December 18, 2018. At this time, the comet was about magnitude 4. The image was made of 430 fifteen second exposures taken with a Canon 80D and a Canon 200 mm f/2.8L II lens (f/3.5, ISO 800). Moonlight from the nearby gibbous moon was interfering, requiring me to keep th exposures short.
