The comet was much more dim then I thought, approximately a magnitude 9-10. I do not think this will be as bright as people are saying. This was quite a disappointment but it's lovely to see if you are lucky to see it. One photo is not enhanced, the other is.

right on brotha, you said it like a true champ. These people in the astronomy world that spent 15,000$ for these picutres are just pulling peoples legs. Spending literally hours photoshoping multiple pictures together , and calling it one photo

I appreciate you! I have seen people dub this the Christmas Comet of 2018... with photos of Hale Bopp, or outlandish drawings of super comets... this one is extremely dim, and anyone who would view it through binoculars or a telescope even under a dark sky will most likely see only a smudge with a brighter inner core... not the comet they heard through all the hype.
