Details:
Comet Wirtanen from Indian Fields, Shelburne County. This comet is easily visible in binoculars but hard to see with the naked eye. The comet is rapidly brightening and should be brightest on Dec. 16 when it is closest to earth. There is not much of a visible tail due to the straight on orientation. Photographed on Dec 5, 2018 with a 200mm camera lens and image cropped. Canon 6D, Canon 200mm f2.8 lens set at f2.8. 9X 30 sec exposures. ISO 4000.
