Details:
Few months ago I managed to capture the shadow generated by the light of Venus. It was pretty easy, actually. From the very dark sky of Atacama desert, I thought it was possible also to see the shadow generated by Sirius. I was actually right. Although faint, the shadow of Sirius is visible with the naked eye and I managed to capture it with my camera. This photo is a stack of 5 shots of 30 seconds.

I know technically there probably is a shadow. There is plenty of light for a reflected image of the person from the car. However, the persons face & car are fully illuminated from a sky full of stars. But in a regular, average Joe sense, I see no shadow cast by Sirius. Perhaps a photo of the ground would reveal the persons shadow attributed to Sirius. What a spectacular place to be!
