Details:
A fortunate break in the overcast allowed for a 5th straight day of viewing Comet 46p. Compare to 24 hours earlier under nearly identical camera settings: https://www.flickr.com/photos/79387036@N07/45374526684/in/dateposted/.
This cropped image used iso between 8960 and 25,000 with each exposure of between 2.5 sec to 3 sec since I didn't have tracking. Although grainy, a small tail is slightly more defined this night at the 10 o'clock position.
Taken during transit of the meridian (highest above horizon due south).
This night was also the first night I could detect the comet in 8x40 binoculars. This very diffuse comet is large; extending over 1 degree in diameter!
Good news, my power supply pack arrived and I will start taking longer tracked images with my EQ mount.
