The motion of comet 46P/Wirtanen in Fornax is seen between the dates of November 3rd (lower right), November 8th and November 11, 2018 (upper left). The coma is really wide, nearly the diameter of the moon at this time.

I think the FOV is around 300 mm according to my star program

Thanks for posting the image. I have been wanting to shoot it down here in Florida but the weather hasnt cooperated.

Ron - Thanks! I used a Canon 70D and a Canon 200 mm f/2.8 lens for the images. I cropped in on the final image, giving a similar FOV as a 300 mm lens on a crop sensor. I feel for you ... I cant get any images of the new comet Machholz because of poor weather!
