Details:
Keeping a close watch on Comets I have read that Comet 38P is reasonably bright now and seeing the sky had cleared to almost perfect conditions I decided I would give it another go.. During the first few snaps while I was framing the shot I noticed one of the stars had a blueish halo around it, I checked all stars around comet itself and they were ok, so I started the imaging session. While taking a break I received an email from David Moore from Astronomy Ireland, notifying me that 39P was approaching The Eskimo Nebula, it was then I realized that that's what the star like object with a blue halo was, none other than NGC2392, the Eskimo Nebula.. thanks to David for the heads up and he is right the Comet 38P will be very close especially tonight..
