Details:
I observed a brief opening in the sky near Dafjord about an hour away from Tromso, Norway. Mostly tepid/slow moving auroras, but eventually had some nice curtains and explosive activity above. These images were captured using a Nikon D850, with a 14mm Samyang lens at ISO 6400 and f/2.8 with exposure times around 3-6 seconds. The lens was pointed directly at the sky to avoid light leaks from obtrusive traffic and salt spreaders.
