Just after dark on 25 October the one day past full Moon rose through moving cloud over Mutare to produce some amazing Sad Moon Emoji illusions! Four which appear to look in slightly different directions were captured in a sequence of shots taken at 12 second intervals as shown in the accompanying time-lapse animation, mosaic and stills. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode and x60 zoom magnification.

Sorry, the animated GIF is skipping the first frame. Looks like a thumbnail and page scaling problem as the full size version when opened displays properly?
