Details:
The day started cold and cloudy in southern Colorado, but as the morning went on, the Sun came out, and in Telluride, near noon, halo phenomena became visible.
First it was the 22-degree halo and sundogs or parhelia. Then, a bright circumscribed halo and a bright parhelic circle. Then, a 120-degree parhelion. Les Cowley said that I was also able to get the rare upper Lowitz arcs in the image.
The sky wasn't about to yield to photography only to the autumn color in the area.
Unfortunately, I don't have a fisheye lens to capture the whole display, with 16 mm being the widest lens I had to capture parts of the display.
