Truly amazing red Aurora over mt. Sarkofagen (Sarcophagus), as I have never seen it that colorful! The funny thing is that it's so called "Southern" Aurora, as you have to look in the Southern direction, because Svalbard is located way above the Magnetic Pole. Panorama of 15 images, taken on Samyang 24mm f/1.4 on astro modified Canon EOS 6D. The h-alpha is greatly increased on a modified astro camera. Do you have a image with a regular camera?

@HDT no, i was using only 1 camera that night. Otherwise, I have neutralized WB of the sky, so the colors of the Aurora are more or less similar as on regular camera sensor.

Nice picture. Makes me wonder what an Aurora picture would look like if I put an infrared Wratten 87 filter on my camera lens.
