Details:
Surplus Shed's $8 achromatic doublet, L14810, has a 52mm diameter by 600 mm focal length, and makes a fun replica of Robert Frost's classic $600. While it might not be Alvin Clark, it provided nice images this morning with the last quarter moon. Did a good job on crescent Venus last evening as well. Photos with iOptron Smartphone adapter and iPhone 5c, camera mode.
