Details:
After the remnants of Hurricane Florence swept by, skies have cleared in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the NC High Country for some stellar viewing. These were from around 5:30am 9/20/18 when Comet C-21 was visible in the east between Orion & Gemini. Here are C21/p and a snapshot of the region around the Orion Nebula. Both are cropped sections of single exposures made using a Nikon D800e with a 180mm lens at f3.2 for 30 second exposures at ISO 1600.
