Details:
A very rare cloudless evening occurred last week in Southeastern Pennsylvania. I used that opportunity to enjoy the plethora of planets visible in the evening sky. The Ringed Wonder, Saturn, never ceases to impress with the tilt of the rings being so open that they can be observed in all of their grandeur. I used a Meade 10" SCT (f/20 w/2x BARLOW) and a ZWO ASI290mm camera. The best 2000/3000 frames were stacked from each of 4 separate filters; Near IR610, Red, Green, and Blue. Details were extracted from the Near IR610 filtered image. Data was processed using PIPP, AS3, Reg6, PS2, and PS5
