In this photo you can see a small part of the top of a rainbow. Below the primary rainbow arc you can see a couple of supernumerary arcs, they result from interference of light rays which emerge from water droplets in the same direction. The number of visible supernumerary arcs depends upon the size of the raindrops.
Nikon D850 with Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4E PF ED VR and NiSi 150x150mm Square HD Polariser filter.
