Details:
Nashville TN. I was snapping shots and my first shot after total with my filter off I got Double Diamonds. My second shot was a plain Diamond I don't understand what that means? Could you explain the shot

The light is obscured by a crater wall or mountain.

apparently the sun is peeking thru 2 widely separated valleys or mountain passes. The next image the glare obscures the fact that there are 2 points of light. Wonder how many other diamond rings started this way, or even more places where the sun came thru at the same moment?

Nice picture. You pretty much need to be at the right place and time to get that one. A moment before or after and you miss it.
