Details:
Looking for clear, dark skies for peak Perseid night, ended up at réserve faunique La Vérendrye, a 3.5-hour drive northwest of Montréal. Conditions were okay, but the transparency was so-so. Let the camera fire away, caught a few Perseid meteors (shown here stacked together with some interlopers), many more satellite trails, and impressive waves of airglow sweeping through the area, especially strong toward the middle of the night.
Stock Nikon D5300 @ ISO 1600, Fisheye Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8, 30 sec. exposures, equatorially driven.
