Details:
After a period of relative quite, my magnetometer burst into life last night as the anticipated fast flowing solar wind from a large coronal hole slammed into Earth's magnetic bubble. The impact, although relatively weak, created beautiful aurora and moved magnetometer 'needles' around the globe.
