Details:
Saturday evening through Sunday morning, before the peak, I headed out to Sunset Crater National Monument with some friends to do some stargazing, telescope viewing, and of course Perseid watching. Although the display was not as frequent as 2016, there were definitely enough bright, long-trained meteors to be a real crowd pleaser. I set up to try and frame some trails with Mars and wound up with a couple that I liked. The sky glow is from Flagstaff to the southwest of the monument.
